Planned, collective, and immediate action is both possible and necessary, as these three books on climate policy seek to show. Compellingly written and drawing on different theoretical frameworks, they are suitable for undergraduate readers as well as the climate-alarmed public. Two of the works (Perona and Buck) propose policies that are critical to enact now. All three offer an antidote to despair by providing ways to think and act against the nations suicidal governance of the climate emergency.
