AGS Councilor Faye Cuevas is playing a critical role in the “TenBoma” initiative, a project developed through the International Fund For Animal Welfare (where Ms. Cuevas works), and several NGO and national agencies in Kenya to both promote conservation of African wildlife, and combat terrorism…all while enabling conversation and

cooperation between actors across these lines of issues. In Kenya, poaching and terrorism are often linked, fueling extremism throughout the region and posing a threat to already endangered wildlife.
