AGS President Dr. Marie Price, and Manager of Sponsored Projects and Initiatives Ms. Katherine Cann participated in the recent UCGIS Symposium 2021: Advancing GIScience-informed Policy Solutions. AGS’s work at the intersection of ethics and geography, including its EthicalGEO Initiative, was featured on a panel exploring the roles of GIScientist and ethics in the public policy arena. Dr. Price and Ms. Cann were joined by Charles Brady III, from the GIS Certification Institute and Camelia Kantor of the US Geospatial Intelligence Foundation.
